The Officers and Directors of the Iowa State USBC are pleased to announce the hiring of Ben Weber of the Oelwein USBC as the new Iowa State USBC Association Manager. Ben brings over 20 years of association experience to the Association Manager’s position. He serves as the President of the Oelwein USBC and is recognized by USBC as a Registered Volunteer.
Ben is a Data Scientist in Risk Analytics with John Deere Financial World. His strong technical skills and background in analytics along with his experience in managing finances and tax filings/payments as well as his knowledge and service background will be very beneficial to our association as we work to increase membership and tournament participation.
Ben will be introduced to our membership on June 29, 2025, at the Meeting of the Council of Delegates. He will begin his role as Association Manager on August 1, 2025
During the interim, Charla Wilke -our current Association Manager- has agreed to serve as Ben’s mentor. Her experience will provide Ben with guidance and historical background as he begins his new role.
We will be showing our gratitude to Charla throughout our 2025 Annual Meeting June 27-29.
